Keynote Address: Unsettling Settler-Colonial Education, The Transformational Indigenous Praxis Model
Please join the Region 16 Comprehensive Center in welcoming the editors of "Unsettling Settler-Colonial Education: The Transformational Indigenous Praxis Model."

In this keynote address, you'll hear from outstanding speakers, including:

Dr. Cornel Pewewardy (Comanche-Kiowa), a Professor Emeritus in Indigenous Nations Studies at Portland State University, Professor-of-Practice in the School of Education at Kansas State University and Vice-Chair of the Comanche Nation.

Anna Lees (Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, descendant). She began her career as an early childhood classroom teacher in rural northern Michigan. Now, an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Western Washington University, she partners with schools and communities in teacher preparation.

Robin Zape-tah-hol-ah Minthorn, Ph.D., (Kiowa/Umatilla/Nez Perce/Apache/Assiniboine), an Associate Professor, Director of the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program, and Director of Indigenous Education Initiatives for the School of Education at the University of Washington Tacoma.
